ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

SEAPAVAA’S VIRTUAL 26^TH CONFERENCE

19 – 21 JULY 2022

SEAPAVAA, with the support of UNESCO, will hold its 26^th Conference virtually from 19^th – 21^st July 2022. This year’s conference theme is “Moving AV Archives Forward”. It reflects a sense of hope and progression, in line with the conference’s goal of providing participants with the motivation and encouragement to continue with their archiving work despite these trying times.

The conference programme will include a one-day symposium session and two days of focus group sessions. Participants can join their counterparts who work within similar environments: (a) Broadcasting (TV/Radio), (b) Film, (c) Heritage based (e.g. museums, libraries, galleries, etc).

The 26^th Conference will also include a virtual archival gems screening via SEAPAVAA’s Facebook.

All activities for the conference are free with registration.
