SEAPAVAA’S VIRTUAL 25^TH CONFERENCE

23 – 25 JUNE 2021

SEAPAVAA celebrates its 25^th anniversary in 2021 and takes its annual conference online with the theme “AV Archiving in Changing Times: Successes, Failures, and Challenges”.

The anniversary and conference logo draws inspiration from the proverbial ‘Every Cloud has a Silver Lining’ where hope can be found in every bad situation. Change in its various forms can threaten stability but also be an opportunity for possibilities. Archivists are called upon to reflect on principles and practices, considering the old with the new, continuities and discontinuities, accepting losses with gains. Despite the looming cloud of the on-going pandemic, AV institutions find silver linings that enable them to persevere, to celebrate and to learn. They embody hope and resilience.
